Water Resources & Environmental Engineering
Dr T.S. Abdulkadir joined the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology in June 2008 and later redeployed to the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering in May 2014 upon its creation. His research interest includes water resources engineering, application of artificial neural network, machine learning (such as support vector machine, decision tree, multivariate regression, etc.), Geographical Information System and remote sensing techniques to watershed modelling, hydro-informatics, stormwater management and agro-wastes based circular water economy. He is a Reader (Associate Professor) and registered Engineer by Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and corporate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). He is currently the Head of Department, Associate Editor for the Departmental Journal (Research Information in Civil Engineering), former Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator and Faculty Ph.D. Seminar Coordinator. He was a volunteer visiting scholar at Kabale University, Republic of Uganda under Nigerian Technical Aid Corps.
