Research Interest

  • Civil Engineering. Integrated water resources management (IWRM) with keen interest for research in areas like hydrology, flood control, watershed management, water resources conservation and management, computer simulations in hydrological forecasting and modelling of water and environmental systems, and climate change impact studies. Water resources optimization using single and multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, impact of climate change on water resources and environmental systems. Application of Artificial Neural Networks, Genetic programming, Differential evolution, Fuzzy logic and other Artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the solution of water resources design, plan1ning and management problems. Real-time systems.
