Oluwatosin Onaopemipo OLOFINTOYE is a Reader in the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria
He was acting Head of Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering (2019 – 2002). He has also served on various administrative and technical committees and boards within the university.
His research interest covers water resources management, water supply systems, solid waste management, small scale hydropower development and reservoir operations optimization. He has published over 30 articles in many local and international peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He has successfully supervised Masters and undergraduate students and also supervising phD student.
Dr Olofintoye is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Research Interests
- Civil Engineering. Integrated water resources management (IWRM) with keen interest for research in areas like hydrology, flood control, watershed management, water resources conservation and management, computer simulations in hydrological forecasting and modelling of water and environmental systems, and climate change impact studies. Water resources optimization using single and multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, impact of climate change on water resources and environmental systems. Application of Artificial Neural Networks, Genetic programming, Differential evolution, Fuzzy logic and other Artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the solution of water resources design, plan1ning and management problems. Real-time systems.
