Olayinka worked for 15 years in physical infrastructure development including design, monitoring, reporting, and procurement exercises before becoming academia at the Faculty of Engineering in 2010.Currently HOD, Water Resources and Environmental Engineering.
Research Interest
Research contributes to safe, sustainable, and efficient water supply delivery for livelihood and development. The focuses are on sustainable and resilient urban water infrastructure systems, including stormwater harvesting, urban water supply, water demand model and management, surface water hydrology with watershed management, and new area of strong interest: Water Energy Food Nexus (WEF) with motivation from water and food security, a disturbing phenomenal in my country
