Prof. (Mrs.) Olubunmi Ajike Mokuolu

Dr. Olubunmi Ajike MOKUOLU is a professor and academic level adviser in the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. Her recent work is in Environmental and Public Health Engineering. Prof. Mokuolu has researched in Environmental management strategies for malaria control, presented papers at conferences, made publications and studies on application of covered drainage system to reduce malaria prevalence. She is experienced in the circular economy and a master trainer in medical waste management. She has trained over 1000 participants ranging from hospital cleaners to hospital consultants on same. She has mentored several pupil Engineers who are themselves at various levels of career development she currently lectures both under- graduate and post- graduate students at the University of Ilorin.
Prof. Mokuolu is an alumnus of “science of eradication” at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, Harvard University, and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
